Melissa (English Lavender) — The Soft Pink Beauty
Melissa (Lavandula angustifolia 'Melissa') stands out from the crowd. Instead of the typical purple, Melissa produces soft pale-pink to lilac-white blooms with a sweet, gentle fragrance. It's a stunning specimen plant on its own, or paired with darker varieties like Royal Velvet or Folgate for a layered, multi-color lavender garden. Hummingbirds and pollinators love it.
Plant specs:
- 4-inch starter pot — ready to plant once you receive it
- Mature size: 24"–30" wide, 18"–24" tall
- Bloom time: Early to mid summer
- Hardiness zones: 5–9
- Full sun, well-drained soil
Choose your quantity:
- 6 plants — small garden bed or border
- 12 plants — full hedge or pollinator strip
- 18 plants — large planting or property edge
Note: Lavender thrives in full sun with good drainage. Improper growing zone or care can lead to poor growth — avoid heavy clay or shaded locations.
